Heather Singleton
Committed, poised, whimsical, Heather brings joy and compassion to the hard work of building a successful business. She first joined Mira as a stylist at its startup in 1995. When she and her husband Ryan had the opportunity to buy the salon in 2005, they took a deep breath and then took the leap. With a visionary sense of beauty and service, Heather is always true to her values, family, staff and clients. She leads from the heart and drives the salon’s commitment to the Mira Way. Her adventurous, innovative sense of style infuses her business and her home. Her warmth and free-spirited laugh can lift anyone’s spirits.
Heather says, “I’m humbled by the opportunity to be of service to those around us and forever grateful for the beautiful souls at Mira that guide us as leaders.
I love the salon world because style helps us express something deeper, something about who we are. I see my life as a tapestry of style: in beauty, in fashion, in my home, even in the company I keep. I can’t help but see the beauty in it all. I’ll forever be proud of the work we do.”

Ryan Singleton
Only love could make a man switch careers from being a forest ranger and Peace Corps volunteer to running a salon and spa. Since 2008, Ryan has been pouring his organizational talents into the unglamorous world of bookkeeping, orders, taxes and all the other invisible but essential behind-the-scenes work. A salon cannot live by beauty alone, and without Ryan’s scrupulous attention to detail, business acumen, and wise counsel, Mira would not be what it is today.
No stranger to style himself, Ryan embodies the best of Midwestern values and has a splash of cowboy spirit that comes out in his favorite greeting: “Howdy.” There’s still plenty of forest ranger left in Ryan! And with his devotion to family, it’s probably not too surprising that he’s applied his adventurous spirit, with Heather, to Mira.
Ryan says, “We didn’t set out to be business owners, but we embraced the challenge and surrounded ourselves with kind people who share our core values of working hard and treating others with respect. We’ve been learning and growing ever since, and with that comes a whole lot of love and mutual admiration. We could never have imagined what Mira would grow to become, and we’re so proud of what the Mira family has built together.”
