Maia grew up in the hustle and bustle of a big family, the kind that crowds in the kitchen, joking around and sharing food, wine, and stories. These days, she’s got her own kitchen, and most days there’s just two people in there cooking and laughing, and love still fills the house. There’s so much to be thankful for. Sometimes what you’ve been seeking is right there in front of you.
Maia did her professional training at the Aveda Institute, apprenticed at Mira, and takes Kaizen color classes. She loves the big reveal, when a client first sees their new hair and bursts into smiles.
Outside of the salon, Maia likes knitting, cooking, and baking and connecting with her family.
Maia’s life hack: Wash dishes as you go, so that you don’t have a mountain to tackle at the end.
