Blend a B.A. in fashion design with a cosmetology license, and you’ve got Sophia—a trend-setting hair artist known for her bold colors and fashion-forward cuts.
After earning a degree in fashion design from Indiana University in 2020 — the very beginning of the global pandemic — Sophia skipped the job market and jumped back into student mode in the cosmetology program at Tricoci University of Beauty Culture in Bloomington.
At Mira, Sophia truly shines when doing fun and interesting colors and cuts on clients. (A recent fave? Hot pink hair with bangs!) From balayage to bouncy layered cuts, Sophia keeps her skills sharp with Wella color classes and Davines razor-cutting and color classes.
Beyond the salon, this creative soul enjoys reading, upcycling clothes, and immersing herself in the vibrant world of “RuPaul’s Drag Race.”
