Mira Pricing Updates

What a year it’s been! I’m both relieved to see the light at the end of the pandemic tunnel and humbled by the lessons I’ve learned. I can’t wait to see your smiling faces again.

I’ve spent a lot of time reflecting with our team on what the future will look like. COVID forced us to re-envision how we serve you. While we can’t wait to get back to business as usual, SHAMPOO*DRY*STYLE, we also see this as an opportunity to make some changes. Some are wish-list items we’ve been meaning to do for a while, and some are safety measures to protect the salon’s future, so Mira will not just survive, but thrive.

The Big News: 

Starting in July, we are implementing inclusive pricing based on the actual time, materials, and techniques it takes to do YOUR hair. 

Haircuts will not be priced by gender. However you identify, we welcome you. We love making everyone feel and look their best self. See list below for each stylist’s new starting haircut price. 

Behind the scenes, stylists have been adding extra time to the schedule to ensure every client leaves Mira looking and feeling fabulous. You might have a whole lotta hair (you know who you are ;), or maybe your color is a balayage masterpiece that requires extra time. Starting in July, the actual time it takes to complete your look will be reflected in the price.  We always put customer service first and this change ensures we can continue to do that.

Talk to your stylist to see if the change will affect you (for most clients, it won’t).

Also starting in July, we will only be offering our services to people 8 years old and up. Our salon is a sacred space for us and our clients, and we don’t want to compromise anyone’s relaxation or salon experience. We also know the hair floor can be a dangerous place for little ones with hot styling tools, bowls of color and scissors.

We embrace the opportunity to move forward with inclusive pricing that honors your style and our commitment. The past year has taught us we need to take care of our clients, as well as the financial, spiritual, and physical well-being of Mira’s staff. We are truly grateful for your support. Thank you!
